HVAC TECHNICIAN

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to grow our team!

Robidoux Heating & Air Conditioning is a locally owned and operated, full service residential heating and air conditioning company, serving the Ottawa community for over 17 years.

This full-time position will involve installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment. We are looking to hire a hardworking, versatile individual who is ready to contribute to a positive work environment, provides exceptional customer service, values quality workmanship in all areas of their work, and is seeking to commit to a long-term role with our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively and efficiently install HVAC equipment, as well as perform HVAC maintenance, service, and repair; both in a team setting and independently.
  • Accountable for the delivery of high-quality customer service and provides high quality workmanship on all jobs and projects.
  • Ability to present self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
  • Adheres to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all tools and equipment used, are in good and safe working order.
  • Responsible for keeping vehicle clean and neat both inside and out in keeping with the company’s professional image.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Gas Fitter II License
  • Valid Class G Driver’s License with a clean record
  • Valid Working from Heights certificate
  • Candidates must successfully meet the requirements of a criminal reference check.
  • Valid Residential Air Conditioning License -313D
  • Valid ozone depletion card
  • English (Required), French (Asset).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years recent HVAC Installation and Service experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, completing the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC elements.
  • Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder.
  • Experience using Field Service Management Software is an asset.

  • Must be punctual and dependable.
  • Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, including heavy lifting, frequent bending, squatting/ kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather,

  • Guaranteed minimum 35hrs/ week. Typical 40-44hrs/week.
  • Full time, Monday to Thursday, 7:30am -5:00pm
  • Fridays flexible depending on employee’s needs and company workload.
  • Evening, Overtime, and On-Call shifts may occasionally be required.
